Beware Limbo Master!
I’m giving you photos because my mind is filled with Beowulf, Wuthering Heights, and Tender is the Night. You guessed it, school is back in session. And on the CTA bus the other day, Chewbacca rode with us:

Jessie has found herself a new job bartending/serving at a new place that just opened in Lincoln Square. We visited her Saturday night:
The corn dogs with andouille sausage and stone ground mustard are some of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Other than the homemade mac’n'cheese with fire-roasted peppers. Wolcott’s is on the corner of Wolcott and Montrose, and you really should go there.
This weekend we also moved Jenn into her first place, a studio apartment:

In the UIC bathrooms, people commonly use the stall walls as a sort of “Dear Abby” post. People ask about what to do when the guy only calls when he’s drunk, or how they should handle it when they like their boyfriend but are in lust with his best friend. One day I found this on the wall.
By the next day it was surrounded by commentary, but I think that should stand alone.

I collected all sorts of great observations about doing shots with First Born and The Boy in Chicago, fighting the Lollapalooza crowd on the train while coming home, and meeting plenty of gosh-durned nice people at the Wisconsin State Fair. But when I started to write something, I’ve found myself on a brain-cation. So until the brain comes home, probably with a cheesy t-shirt and a new tattoo, enjoy these funny signs.
BTW, these were taken with a crappy cell phone because I broke a lens on my beloved Sony Alpha 100. Sniffle.
